I believe this was a NES / Nintendo game.
I don’t remember much about it but I believe it involved the elements.
There was one where the character had to pass through a cave and at the end of the cave was this large sun-like thing in a pit that would spit something at you as his face moved around.
I don’t remember if the character had to catch it or if they came with their own bombs but you had to toss something into its open mouth so that it would explode within. You had to do it a few times before it was killed. Then you could hop down and go through a doorway.
And I believe the end of the game, you were in front of a huge mountain that you had to climb upwards. The gist was that all the elements were floating around in the sky above just tossing random things down at your character.
Does anyone recall this game?

I was talking to my brother about this old game, but neither one of us remembers the name.
You played an angel that for some unknown reason could shoot lasers, and you had to shoot either asteroids or alien spacecraft… I can’t recall which.

The was a first player RPG game for Nintendo, I don’t remember much but a lot of the game took place in a cavern, you had to solve riddles and puzzles in order to advance, does anyone recall this game or what the title might be?
there were no battles in this game, it was a lot like Myst, you had to answer questions, solve riddles and in order to advance you and to find items

We bought a Wii for a Christmas gift for my children (ages 4-11) and we know we have to buy at least one more controller & nunchuck controller.
We have no other nintendo game consoles (no gamecube or anything).
Do we need the regular controller (looks like an original controller)? A memory card?
Which is the best “gun” controller for Call of Duty or games like that?
Best games for adults & kids to play. Any help would be grateful. We’re going shopping this week to pick the stuff up.

Now the Korg DS-10 Plus is here, which greatly increases the sonic possibilities for DSi owners. Modeled after Korg’s classic MS-10 synth, this is a cool piece of software that musicians will have fun playing around with. The layman who isn’t familiar with the way synthesizers work or hasn’t used other music software will be pretty lost, though. If you already own the Korg DS-10, note there isn’t a reason to upgrade unless you’ve also upgraded to a DSi.
There are three instruments available in the DS-10: two monophonic synths and a four-part drum machine. Each instrument has many tweakable parameters and it is possible to come up with a wide variety of bass, lead, and percussion sounds. Several useful presets have been included but it is also possible to create your own sounds, save your patches, and recall them quickly. Developer AQ Interactive has admirably and lovingly recreated the MS-10 here, and it really sounds great. The touch screen also makes editing your synths a breeze.

Unfortunately, each synth is monophonic, meaning they can only generate one note at a time. The fact that you can’t program chords severely limits the use of this software. You could patch each synth the same way so that they produce the same sound and then program them together, but then it’s still only playing two notes at once.
Songs are put together with patterns that the user programs one at a time. Each pattern can be up to 16 steps long, which usually works out to be one measure. That’s a pretty small slice of a song to work with, which is another reason why this isn’t the most friendly compositional tool.

As we all know buying a Wii games is not that easy and the amount of money you should invest on it is huge enough to make you exercise more care on the original Nintendo game DVD. A revolution has begun to make sure that you do not worry much about taking care of the original DVDs. Wii games are very much expensive, though they deserve the price, but it is unfair to restrict us from using the backup DVDs in case of the original DVD getting impaired. One of the things you can do at this juncture is to install a hardware chipset inside your system board of the Wii and install a Homebrew on the Wii to start playing wider ranges of games, which are not supported by Nintendo.
